Charge battery says empty after being fully charged

My Fitbit charge is not syncing because the app, (as well as on PC) show the battery is empty, although on my wrist it is counting everything just fine and showing that it has plenty of charge. It hasn't synced in 3 days. How do I resolve this? This is already a replacement for my first Charge that wouldn't hold battery life for more than a day or two.
