I am a blind user using a charge for with iPhone and voiceover as my screen reader. I have multiple issues with the way that voiceover reads the Fitbit screens. Over a year ago the edit button was made so that it was no longer visible to the VoiceOver screen reader and therefore unavailable to me as a user. Distance sometimes shows up as a date when looking at the past six days. And why do they say that you’re looking at the past seven days when you’re looking at today plus the past six? When I click on distance and then on a specific date to look at history why does the next screen read what sounds like gobbledygook and provide no useful information?
when looking at zone minutes why are so many swipes required when it could be easily reduced and the screen made more reasonable readable to voiceover users.
why when I look at percentage of sleep and eat zone is the percentage not identified and why does it sometimes she’ll wipers one single person or such as 79% for all sleep stages I know that the answer is not 320% roughly. Why does time and sleep stages sometimes read as meters and not as minutes it is annoying to have the brain hat stop and process the fact that it is minutes and not meters causing me and I’m sure others to have to refocus. This is the same as distance for the past six days when it shows up as a date and you have to stop and process the day into miles and then do the comparisons that you want to do to help improve your outcomes.
why when I go into community do I see more times than not that I have done over 100,000 steps in one day rather than the average steps?
I have more questions and would hope to talk to somebody at Fitbit to resolve what I consider to be

Hello @Podunk
I’m unable to help you with the programming of the voice over issues you are having, truly I wish I could, but I don’t work for Fitbit but just a consumer like yourself. I can help though in two ways. The first is your Fitbit giving you outrageous step counts. Try restarting your Fitbit to see if that helps resolve that issue. I don’t see in your post which particular Fitbit tracker you have but you can look here to see how to restart your particular Fitbit: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1186.htm. Hopefully restarting your Fitbit will help with your step counts being detected incorrectly.
Secondly is your edit button. Although I can’t help you to get the voice over to read the edit button but maybe I can help get tiles on your Fitbit App that your wanting to place there by going a different route so it can be used as an alternative while the edit button is being addressed. Open the Fitbit App then tap discover at the bottom of tier screen. Now scroll down and tap Health & Fitness Stats. Here you will find all the tiles you are able to place on your Fitbit App without having to go through the edit button. This will help you add each tile but unfortunately if you decide later you no longer want a particular tile you cannot remove it from here. Sadly that would require the edit button. Now that your in the Health & Fitness Stats you can tap the tile you want then tap add. After doing so it will appear on the Fitbit Today screen
I hope this helps in someway and I also hope restarting your Fitbit tracker helps as well.
