I am an American living in Europe.  I use commas to separate numbers  9,457 steps -- not 9.457 steps.  Just because I live in Europe, do not require me to use a different method.  I am using the app on a US-purchased iPhone, now running iOS 17.  If I change my location in the app from Europe to the United States, it does not affect the incorrect notation.

This is only one of a variety of unsatisfactory issues in the new app.  It is a downgrade and stop trying to push a Google connection.
