Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @SunsetRunner.

I am sorry to hear you're having trouble pairing your Fitbit Inspire to your new iPhone 12. Thank you for trying to resolve this and providing the additional details. I understand how you are feeling and I am here to help. I recommend trying the following:

  1. On your previous phone, tap Settings > Bluetooth > the information icon next to the name of your Fitbit device > Forget This Device.
  2. Open the Fitbit app on your iPhone 12 and set up the connection with your Inspire.
  3. You should receive a message asking you to allow your Fitbit device to pair with your phone. Tap Pair to approve the request.

If your tracker is not paired to your Fitbit account, follow the complete troubleshooting instructions at Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? If the tracker is paired to your Fitbit account, see Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Keep me posted on the outcome.

I am having the same problem but have already cleared/erased all from the old phone. When checking the compatibility on the Fitbit app it is not showing as compatible with the IPhone 12.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @MLFewtrell74.

Thank you for joining the thread and sharing that you're experiencing the same issue with your device. I understand your concern and would like to confirm that the iPhone 12 is not a supported device for the Fitbit app at this moment. It doesn't mean that it won't work with the app entirely, but rather that some of its functions might work intermittently. Our engineering team works really hard to keep up with every new phone and mobile device releases, so our customers can enjoy their trackers to the fullest. If you're experiencing any difficulties with syncing your tracker, please follow the complete troubleshooting instructions at Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Let me know how it goes.

So what you are saying that for all of us that have gotten a iPhone 12, we cannot sync our Fitbit to it????  That needs to be corrected very soon or else I want a refund for my new Fitbit that I just purchased 3 weeks ago!

This is pretty terrible, Fitbit! I can pair, see my daily steps/exercise, but cannot click on the individual stats to edit, etc. Please get it together if you really claim to be the best fitness tracker available!

This is still an issue. What is Fitbit doing to fix this?

I’ve tried all you are saying but in My Bluetooth settings it’s not recognising that I have a Fitbit. I have turned off the Bluetooth and turn it back on again and it is still not recognising the Fitbit. I have the latest Fitbit app so not sure what else I can do. I’m paying for Fitbit premium so it’s only right and fair that I get all of the functionality I’m paying for. Please can you advise?

This is so upsetting. I even started a yearly Premium subscription for $79.99 in September that says if I cancel it it's still available until NEXT September showing me I can't even get a refund. I am sooooooo upset. Did I say that I'm sooooo upset? Fitbit, this is insane!!!!!!!!!!!! I was on Fitbit chat yesterday and they knew I had a new iPhone12 Pro and still just had me try everything and NEVER said anything until the end stating that "Our team is going to review your account and be in touch with your warranty options via email within the day. A factor can be that the phone is not listed on our compatible devices."  This is so sad, Fitbit...

I frankly cannot believe this.  Never dreamed this would be an issue when I decided to upgrade my phone to an iPhone 12.  After over 5 years, I guess I will be moving on from FLUBbit.

THis is still not working.  What a disappointment.  Luckily, I have the box to return the device.  Not so great is the fact that I have to pay shipping even though this is clearly a problem with the device.

It would have been nice to inform the consumer about this.

Why are you not telling consumers that this is a known problem and that all features on inspire 2 will not work with iPhone 12?

Not a great response to this thread. What are you doing to upgrade to compatibility with iPhone 12 iOS 13.4?
