Constant Charge 6 connectivity isues on iPhone 16 pro

I am current using my Charge 6 with an iPhone 16 pro with iOS version 18.5 and with Fitbit app version 4.47. Since I purchased the charge 6 in April 2025, I have had constant connectivity issues with the device. Every night when I sleep, it loses connectivity to the app. Usually just the app, but sometimes also the Bluetooth connection. And whether it loses the Bluetooth connection or not, it still loses connection to the app and does the little "not connected icon" at the top of the watch when I first look at it in the morning. If I walk out of Bluetooth range of my phone, it loses connectivity which is expected, but will not reestablish a connection without manual intervention. When it's connected, I don't have many issues with syncing data, although I sometimes have to restart the app in order to get it to sync.

I have searched the forums for any possible solution and before someone says it, yes I have deleted the app, all data on the app and the watch, and the Bluetooth connection (reset every single thing related to it) at least five times at this point, and set up everything again as if it's new and the problem returns. It's done this on every version of the app and iOS I've had since I first got it in April. I have also ensured that ALL background permissions and connectivity are allowed and likewise make sure the app is always running in the foreground (in other words I don't hold the bottom of the iPhone screen to get the app list then push it up to close it) and the issue persists. For context, I previously owned a Charge 2 and 4 and never had these issues with them staying connected. Even with the charge 4 that reached the end of it's life on this same phone.

Any help anyone can offer is appreciated because I'm frankly so frustrated I'm at the point of selling this thing on eBay and getting an Apple Watch. I'm sure they aren't perfect either, but I seriously doubt I'll have these types of issues. I only really stayed with Fitbit due to my years of data I've accrued along with the small profile and long battery life, but if you can't even rely on it for simple notifications, which you can't of course if it won't stay connected, then my time with Fitbit has come to a close.
