Did you mean:

"Unable to load your goals"

ANSWERED

The app says it is "Something went wrong. Unable to load your goals" since yesterday.

This on top of the months-long issue of it not showing old previous days totals for months now. (I'm on a 1650 day step streak, and this looks likely to lose it because you continue to fail to fix the app).

iOS app for iPad, version 4.41.

I had this problem this week as well after the recent updates - deleting and reinstalling the Fitbit iOS app on my phone solved the issue.

Same issue here, also on iPhone. Same error for goals and won't show historic data for steps, calories etc. In fact anything I have set a goal for. My Fitbit is nearing the end of its life and considering switching to a competitor now.

Thanks! Yes, re-installing seems to have solved this particular issue. Still not keeping track properly of previous days, bit at least it now finds the goals.

Fixed my similar problem as well. Thanks.

I’m still experiencing the issue and my app is up to date. Goals tab says “something went wrong unable to load goals” and the see all tab won’t open.

Hi everyone, and welcome to our new members.

@BjornT@magidin@Riverbill Thanks for sharing these details, and the steps that you tried on your own. I'm happy the goals screen on the Fitbit app got loaded after reinstalling the Fitbit app and I'm sure your posts will help other members experiencing similar issues.

@FraserMcG and @Reglyo I'm sorry for the inconvenience this has caused. I understand how you're feeling and because your post didn't mention, please try uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit app. Then, check one more time if your goals display correctly afterward.

Does historical data remain? Re: steps. I’m having the same issue in my app now

Best Answer

No, the historical data is still missing, as it has been since August of 2024. Multiple threads telling Fitbit this, and being answered with "working on it" have failed to fix it. The data is recorded *somewhere* since my weekly report includes it, but it is not displayed in the app. I'm using a One, have kept the app updated, and mograted to google a while ago.

On my phone it has stopped showing my steps, distance and calories since yesterday. Why?

Best Answer

Did this reset all of your data as well. I don’t want to lose my data and start over??

Best Answer

No. Streak still alive.

I’m having this same issue and saw the Uninstall/Reinstall solution. When I go to delete the app from my phone, it says it will delete my data. I’m logging over 1400 days and don’t want to lose that run and don’t want to start over. Am I missing something?

Okay…I’m going to take everyone’s advice and delete/uninstall then reinstall, and cross my fingers my data remains…😳

Data is stored on the Fitbit/Google servers. The only data I lost was 1 night's sleep data.

Same here, that’s why I don’t want to reinstall the app. I don’t want to lose my data. I hope they fix it soon.

Hi Bjorn

Dod you lose all your previous data?

Best Answer

Hello! No, I didn’t lose any historical data after deleting and reinstalling - I just checked and it’s all there 🙂

Best Answer

Sadly this didn't work for me. I've uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled several times and still can't load or amend goals.
