Couldn't find wireless sync dongle

For the past few months, I haven't been able to sync my flex because the software keeps saying it can't find the sync dongle. I've tried rebooting, moving the dongle to another port, etc. -- but nothing seems to work.  I thought it was just the MacOS 10.11 problems, but other people seem to be able to sync now, and I still can't sync.

Hi @ChrisCox, I'd recommend the following steps if you haven't already:

1. Make sure that your Fitbit iOS App is current and that you've downloaded the latest Fitbit Connect version. Click here to download the latest version of Fitbit Connect.
2. Restart your tracker.

3. Reboot your iPhone.

4. Open your iOS settings > turn off Bluetooth for 10 seconds > and then turn Bluetooth back on.

5. Open the Fitbit App to initiate a sync.

If the steps above don't help, I'd then recommend following @SunsetRunner's advice and reaching out to our support team for additional assistance.

Hope this helps!

Welcome to the Forums @ChrisCox! That's completely weird. However, I'd try reaching out to our Support Team. I know that they're always happy to listen to your experience and provide different options for you, if needed. In the meantime you can try syncing your information through any mobile device listed here.

Let me know how it goes.

Hmm, the flex is charged, but isn't syncing with my phone either.

I've tried different distances between the tracker and phone, and moved them a few rooms away from any other radio sources (wifi).

What are the odds that both the dongle and tracker would go bad around the same time?

The restart made the tracker sync with the phone. Looks like the tracker was in a bad state and I lost most of the data for the past week or so.

Dongle still isn't working, but at least I have a workaround for the time being.
