Current heartrate not showing on IOS app

I got a new iPhone yesterday, and since then the live heart rate is not showing on the phone app. I can see my resting heart rate, and if I go look at the day's graph, everything is there. The rate shows on my Charge 2 just fine, but on the phone, all I see is --

The Charge 2 itself seems to be working, tracking my heart rate. I don't know why it doesn't show up on the phone app. My daughter also got a new phone yesterday, and also has a Charge 2, and has no problems. I've tried restarting the phone, syncing, restarting the Charge 2, and there's no change. It is the only thing that isn't working.

The new phone is an iPhone 8 256G phone. The IOS and Fitbit app are all up to date.

Any suggestions?

Hello @hilinda, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

I appreciate you have brought this to my attention. Please note that once your tracker starts syncing, the current heart rate will show up in the HR tile, it will also show once the tracker has "connected" and shows a green icon next to it. If you're not able to see it, my best recommendation would be enabling "All-day Sync".

To enable All-day Sync, please go to Account > Charge 2 and scroll down until you see that option, enable it and sync your tracker, this will make the current heart rate show up.

I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.

Hi Marco. Thanks for replying.

The thing is, the FitBit syncs just fine- for everything else.

And I know it is keeping track of my heart rate, because it all shows up in the day's graph.

But it does NOT show up on the tile.

But wait, would you look at that? I went in and enabled all day sync, and it DID fix the issue. It asked to pair with my phone (how did it sync at all before, if it wasn't already paired?), and once I did that, things are fine. Which makes sense, as far as needing to re-pair with the new phone, but makes no sense that ANY of it worked before!

Thanks again!

I have a fb Blaze for years and now have the same issue (current heartrate not showing on the app, only shown on the Blaze device), Resting heartrate and heartrate graphs work fine on the app.   I think it all worked previously, just noticed that change.  Did sth go wrong with an app update?

no this hasn't been resolved yet at all, i'm in contact with fitbit support re the issue but it hasn't been resolved yet...

I have found that if you go on the web version of the fitbit app, (not the phone version), and then log out and log back in, that the heart rate will display on your phone app, at least for that day.  You may have to repeat that daily, I don't know.  Anyway, it has worked for me for two days in a row now.
