I will add my voice to the others that are requesting the addition of the function of deleting old notifications. It is quite a nuisance! Thank you.

Actually I think I did read it wrong and @LZeeW's response would be correct in that case.

@Smitty55 The Feature Suggestion asking for this is in the "Reviewed by Moderator" stage. I can help you stop them from coming! Go to your dashboard on the fitbit.com (web) dashboard. Now click on the Gear (Settings) icon in the upper right. Click on Settings. Along the left hand side. click on Notifications. Uncheck the Mobile notifications like the step goal milestones and the auto recognized that annoy you and they will stop.
Still no way to manually delete them once they are there. Here is the link to the Feature Suggestion about this issue. Please vote and comment here, as a Feature Suggestion is the more direct way to get your voice counted.

@Smitty55 I should have done this with my original post, so here is a screen shot of my settings
Since doing this, the notifications from within the app have stopped.
Turning these notifications off is not device specific. So I am not sure why you are having a particular problem with your Alta HR. Can you be more specific?
