Dashboard and activity discrepancy

Screenshots of Fitbit appMy dashboard shows I've covered one distance, but in my activity log it shows I've covered a much further distance. I've logged off of Fitbit, shut all open pages by swiping up, restarted phone and logged back in- still no change to discrepancy. Cant seem to attach screenshots:/ Please help 🙂

This seems like a very odd situation. If the information is showing discrepancies, it's possible the app is not updating correctly with our servers, my recommendation in that case would be waiting for 15 to 20 minutes for the information to update. Nevertheless, a screenshot will be very helpful for me to check this further. If you're not able to add a screenshot, please follow these instructions and try again.

I appreciate you have sent the screenshots. Indeed, this is a very odd situation, however, it seems the app is not updating the information correctly with the one in our servers, which is why I would like to recommend the following:

 

  1. Force-close the app by double tapping the home button on your phone and swiping up the app. If this doesn't seem to work, please:
  2. Log out from the app, restart your phone and log back in. 

Please give it a try and let me know the outcome. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

I have tried what you suggested, but unfortunately it's not made any difference- my distance on dashboard is still wrong and doesn't make sense as my steps are nearly 15,000. Kinds regards LilsRunsIMG_1048.PNG

I think I'm seeing the same discrepancy with my Fitbit app.

Hi again, have tried what you have suggested- but still no change. My exercise logged on the exercise tab/icon/heading (not sure of the terminology) on my dashboard but distance was not logged under the distance tab. Other days have been fine and everything on dashboard has logged accurately-  it was just that one day.
