Dashboard doesn't show calories burned/remaining for previous days

I don't know if this is deliberate or a bug, but I've just updated to the latest iOS version of Fitbit and the calories burned/remaining box does not change when I scroll back to previous days.

I usually check this in the morning to see what my deficit was the day before, but I can't do that now. This is the plate icon with "x cals in x cals left" displayed. It looks like all these lower icons show today's data even if you scroll back to previous days.

The tiles below your activity stat tile show your most recent information even if you are looking at a previous day's activity stats. Click here for more information

Hello, @benno122! Welcome to the Forums! c: Hmmm.. this is very weird. Please try to log out/in from the App, then reboot your phone, and try to sync your tracker. This should not be happening and I have not heard anything of a bug like this.

Let me know how it goes and if the problem persists please send me some screenshots so I can investigate more with my team! Cat Wink

I have this same issue. All of the larger tiles on the bottom of the dashboard do not update when I scroll through previous days. Sleep, exercise, active minutes, etc always show today's information.

Logging in/out, rebooting my phone does nothing to fix this issue.

Thanks but no, this didn't help. The top of the dashboard changes with the day but nothing under this first section. See attached screenshots for the last three days: the top five factors change but the two at the bottom of the screenshots (1,854 cals in & 1 of 5 days) stay the same for every day.

This seems to have matched the familiar pattern of my requests on this forum, I get a quick first reply and then when it doesn't work and I provide more information, it all stops...

Hello, @benno122! Thanks for the updates and sorry for the delay. This is because those two squares show you the information for that specific day and it should be changing daily, as you exercise and get more calories, so next day if you exercise, it should say 2 of 5 days and so on. Have you notice this?

That's fine if it's deliberate that these two boxes always stay the same even when you scroll through the days. As I said in my original post, "I'm not sure if it's deliberate or a bug" and your initial reply seemed to suggest it was a bug so perhaps you misunderstood my point.

But if it is a deliberate change, then it's a loss for me. Previously I could scroll to yesterday and instantly see how my calories compared to my goal, e.g. I was 200 under goal, which I like to monitor. I don't really care about that today because the number can't be accurate until the end of the day anyway. Now I can only see yesterday's deficit by looking at both calories burned and eaten separately, and calculating the difference myself. Before I could see that number immediately, so for me this change is less useful.

Thanks, I did suggest this in my original post a month ago, but I think your colleague misunderstood. I don't like the change but understand it's not a bug.

Please fix the glitch. It's been that way for a LONG time. Whatever is in the current day is what shows up the next day and the next. For example if I slept 7:00 hours today but then hit the arrow to go back to yesterday where, say I slept 7:30 hours it still says 7:00 from today. And it does that no matter how far back I go. It doesn't refresh to the actual sleep time for the day in which sleep was recorded, just puts in what today was. In the old dashboard this doesn't happen. Please fix the glitch. Thanks

Hello @M_elle, thank you for joining us in the Community!

I would like to mention that this is not a glitch, it's the way the app is now showing the information, if you want to check your sleep from previous days, tap on the sleep tile, where you'll be able to see more details and a sleep graph from previous days.

I understand you'd like to see previous day's information when swiping between days, I went ahead and found a suggested idea by @BobTheCat to implement this feature in the future. I would like to encourage you to submit your vote and add your comment, this is the best way to make your voice heard.

Hope this can be helpful, feel free to reply in case you need anything else!
