Hello, can anyone tell me why my gym session today isn’t showing in my dashboard please? I have set a target of 3 a week. I’ve done 2 so far but it’s only registered the one I entered manually in my fitness pal. Do I have to go to “exercise” on my watch when I start exercising for it to register? TIA

Hi, @JPeace! Depending on what you're doing at the gym, the auto detect feature is not the greatest. So yes, if you want to guarantee that the exercise will be tracked as such, you should track it via the exercise function on your tracker.

When I lift weights, I notice that my heart rate just doesn't elevate as high as it should. When it does, it's not sustained. I always explicitly start the exercise ("Weights") on the device when lifting. Even then, from this last session, my heart rate was so low, apparently, that the session didn't register as "Activity." In short, I got no credit under the "Active Minutes" panel for the weight lifting session. Sigh...
No, I'm not a wimp. I do mostly cable machines and lift, pull, and/or press the whole weight stack, regardless of the machine I'm on at the time. I do rest extensively between sets however. This type of non-aerobic lifting apparently doesn't register as exercise (or even activity) for my Charge 2 device.

How does a Fitbit customer open a trouble ticket regarding the iOS app? I've posted several times regarding issues with data on the exercise panel disappearing after a fraction of a second, even when you scroll the list of exercises. Others have reported this issue as well with very limited response from Fitbit.
Is there a way to formally document an issue with Fitbit and get some type of tracking number so you can monitor progress towards some type of resolution? Or is this forum it? We're at the mercy of the Fitbit moderators who may (or may not) choose to respond?
Again... this issue is 100% reproducible. It happens every time. It may be related to the large number of exercises I record each day (around 3 - 5). These are mostly short walking sessions around my job campus and on my treadmill at home. Is it too much to ask the iOS developers/testers to load a lot of exercises on the iOS app and see half of them disappear 0.5 seconds after bringing up the panel?
