Dashboard missing data

My dashboard only shows the calories. It doesn’t show the steps, miles, minutes of all my daily steps like I see on other peoples Fitbit app.

Hi, and welcome to the Community!

This could be explained if your fitbit was no longer connected to the app.

If you go into the app and select your profile image at the top left you get to your profile settings. On that screen is a list of connected devices. If your fitbit is not showing then select "set up a device" and follow the prompts. This will reconnect your fitbit and hopefully your stats will show properly.

I’ve got the same issue, but my Fitbit is connected and syncing.

I’m also have this issue it’s syncing but all the data that’s normally there is grey and I can’t click on anything

This just happened to mine as well. First it was only showing calories and then all data was gone, just a blank screen with the discover option. My Versa is connected and syncing! Very frustrating.

The same thing is happening to me. The dashboard changed about fifteen minutes ago in a blink, and my device is connected.

Happened to me too about 10 mins ago. I’ve tried everything. Device is synced and connected. I’ve even updated the app to 3.21 but nothing.

Best Answer

Nope. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the app but same issue. The device synced up but the dashboard is blank.

Sounds like there was a bug that could have caused these errors. According to Fitbit in the following thread it should now be resolved. If not, it might be best to update that thread:

Yesterday my dashboard rearranged itself and a couple of stats disappeared. I got the stats back, but can’t rearrange the dashboard to the way it was or any other way.

I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, maybe that’s the difference? I did not lose any data as it is stored in the device.

Hello all, thank you for your participation in the forums and for sharing your experiences with the dashboard missing data. I am sorry for the delayed response.

I appreciate each of you for reporting this issue, providing detailed information and for the troubleshooting steps tried. Have you tried to log out of the app, restart the phone, and log in? Is your Fitbit app updated to the latest version: How do I update the Fitbit app? In this help article you can also find the steps to add and rearrange your stats. You may try to uninstall and reinstall the app if the issue persists.

If you continue experiencing difficulties, could you please confirm the iOS version you are using? I will be glad to investigate further.

@SteveH thank you for your support!

Please keep me posted.

I have lost most categories other than calories and exercise and the are not shown in the removed area. Problem began when I hit the +, on exercise, to bring up the map during my walk. I put it in background but was unable to bring it back up and then wasn’t able to access data from previous days. I deleted app and reinstalled and tried it again and same result. Deleted and reinstalled again but this time only exercise and calories showed up. Really miss being able to see my sleep score.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @MikePB.

Thank you for joining the thread and sharing that you've lost most of the categories in the Fitbit app. I understand how you are feeling and appreciate your troubleshooting efforts and the additional details. I am here to help. I recommend confirming if your device is paired to your Fitbit account and set up if needed:

  1. Tap the Today tab, and tap your profile picture.
  2. If you don't see any device paired, tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

You can find more information about sleep score at What's sleep score in the Fitbit app?

Let me know how it goes, I'll be around.

Thank you very much for your help. That solved that problem. There is another problem but I’m not sure if the problem is with Fitbit or my Iphone 10x. Sometimes when I open the app, I get a blank screen and have to power down my phone, in order to fix it. Again, thanks for your help.
