Dashboard not showing up when I click on Fitbit desktop icon

I have an iMac. When I click on the Fitbit Connect desktop icon to access my dashboard, the dashboard won't open. How am I supposed to sync my new data if I can't access the dashboard? I'm able to sync my data on my cell phone but I'd also like to be able to update it on my desktop computer too.

The fitbit connect program is separate from your dashboard. It is only used to setup, manage and sync your fitbit. To see the dashboard you need to go www.fitbit.com in your web browser. If you open fitbit connect you should see an option to "sync now"
