How are you doin' today @mas2? I believe that the distance tile is just hidden so don't worry about it, I suggest you to follow the instructions on this article "How do I change my Dashboard on the Fitbit app for iOS?" to rearrange or show hidden tiles.

This help article doesn't help me. My steps tile is gone, and is not anywhere to be found when I hit edit.

Hi @keelyaha it's nice to see new faces around! Smiley Very Happy hmmmm this sounds a little bit weird. But don't worry, I suggest you to uninstall the Fitbit app from your iPhone, then reboot your phone and finally reinstall the app again. And don't worry because your data won't be touched by doing that. Smiley Wink

Let me know if after that, you can see the tile back.

I'll be around! Smiley Very Happy

Hi @theenglishowl, welcome to the Community!

Do you mean on the PC Dashboard? if so, then remember that you have to download the Fitbit connect software and then install it on your computer.

Once you complete the installation, this little icon will appear on the right bottom of your computer, next to the time and date, so please click on it.

Then this window will pop up:

So just click on "sync now" and remember to have the wireless sync dongle plugged into the USB port of your computer.

Let me know if you have more questions. Cat Happy

Would i have to keep the doggle thingy in computer .. using doggle thingy on lap top but often find my self closer to computer.   (or is doggle only a one time thingy that i put in and take out for later use?)

thank you in advance for the help - not as lost as i once was 🙂

Thanks for getting back @theenglishowl!

You can leave the Dongle plugged into the computer as long as you want. That works as the "All day sync" on your phone, which means that your tracker will sync automatically.

Hope that answers your question! Smiley Very Happy

hi

thanks for the response - yes it answers part of my question.

but what if i have two computers ... (example: computer and lap top)

doggle is in the laptop now ... does that mean i wont be able to access things when on computer upstairs?

(when i go on fitbit it askes to put doggle so it can sync ... but doggle is on laptop down stairs)

lol not really a problem. i can live with it ... just wondering

🙂

Thanks for your response @theenglishowl! Ok, let me explain you, if you are using the Wireless Sync Dongle on one computer, then you have to use that computer to sync, along with the Fitbit Connect Software installed in.

I hope that answers your questions!
