Data gets overwritten each day in app.

I recently started using Fitbit. Noticed that current and historical data on my fitbit.com dashboard is accurate. But that some data on my ios app is accurate and some is not. Specifically, all today's data and all non-today data in the top window (steps, floors, km, cals, minutes) is accurate. But all other non-today data (e.g. cals left, water, #hours, #days exercise, ...) on ios app has been overwritten by today's equivalent data. So - as illustration - if in the last three days I drank 32oz, 48oz, 64oz water with today's being 64oz then 64oz would be shown for yesterday and prior day on ios app.

Chatted with Fitbit Support. No solution offered.

Have uninstalled and reinstalled ios app. Not resolved. Ideas welcomed.

Thank you for the informative and timely response. I understand. I did not realize that changes to time frame (today, yesterday, ...) only effected a subset of the metrics. It may be good to share this information with the Fitbit Chat Support team as it is inconsistent with their response.
