My battery nearly ran out before I could charge it and now the data won't sync to my iPhone to match my Fitbit charge 2.

Let me help you to sync your tracker. As a first step I recommend performing the restart 2 or 3 times in a row, if the issue persists follow the Syncing Troubleshoot for iOS devices.
