Detailed view of the stats isn't working

Hi - when I am Reviewing the stats on my Fitbit app on my phone I am

usually able to click on a stat (eg exercise) and see the stats behind it (calories, distance etc) Now when I click

on each stat it doesn’t bring up anything just stays on the front screen. Also I have noticed that over the last week

or so the sleep stats are the old style stats but as with everyhing

else today I can’t see the data behind them. Anyone able to help?

Hi @Charl2103. Welcome! It's nice to have you on board. I'm sorry for the delay.

Thanks for sharing that the detailed view of your stats isn't working correctly. This sounds odd and to work on this together, please try the following steps in the given order:

  1. Log out from the Fitbit app.
  2. Verify if the Fitbit app is updated to the latest version. For instructions, see this help article.
  3. Force quit the Fitbit app as described here.
  4. Reboot your phone.
  5. Open the Fitbit app and log back in to your account.
  6. Try to check your stats and their details one more time.

About the sleep, do you mean that you received the sleep patterns instead of the sleep stages? If that's correct, I'd recommend to check this help article which describes what conditions affect the way your Fitbit generates sleep stages.

Thank you, this worked for me, phew!
one caveat, when I logged back in after rebooting it a very long time to accept my password and get back into the app. After 60 seconds or so I closed the app and reopened it, and everything was back to normal. I did get a message that databases were updating the second time, so I think that was probably why it took so long to log back in. I mention this only for impatient people like me, I think if I had waited longer everything would have been fine.
