Device not updating time zone

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I live in eastern Canada and I am currently travelling in France. When I got to France, I tried setting the time (I don’t have it programmed to set automatically) to Paris time. Once I exited the menu, it stayed Paris for a few seconds but then changed back to Toronto time. I tried it again, but same result. I then set it to change automatically, and it stayed on Paris for a little longer but then, once again, changed to Toronto. My FitBit charge 3 is still showing Toronto time. I tried syncing it and everything. I am doing this on the iOS 13 app, for anyone wondering.

Hi @LAHalverson, welcome to the Community Forums!

I appreciate the information that was shared in your post. Let me share with you that our Fitbit devices use your mobile device information to display the time with the syncing process, therefore, by simply syncing your Charge 3 it should display the correct time, or the one that's  configured on your mobile device. That said, I suggest you to verify the time zone settings of your mobile device and then sync your Fitbit.

Also, this can be fixed by updating the time zone setting in your Personal Settings. For step-by-step instructions, please see our help article: How do I change the time on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.
