Disappearing Food in Calories Eaten

Has anyone else been having trouble when entering food eaten in the dashboard? I keep adding foods I've eaten, then they don't show up on the dashboard. Then if I close the app & reopen it again, it may appear. When putting in multiple items, only some items appear. Close app & open it again & one may appear, but the others are lost. So I'm having to do it one item at a time, then close app, open app & see if it has added it. Very laborious! Been using Fitbit for a year this week (hooray!) and I've never encountered this issue before. Any ideas? Should I just delete the app on my iPhone, download it again, log in, and see if this fixes it? X

My wife once added 100 banans for 10,000 calories by accident. She had the reverse problem-she couldn't get it to go away.

I've have this problem happen also.  And not just from the Fitbit app but also when adding food from the dashboard.  Sometimes it appears in my log after adding it and sometimes it just disappears.  It only happens maybe 5% of the time but when it happens it's really annoying.

And I'm getting really tired of having to input food calories again & again, & shutting the app & restarting to see if the food is then there. It's so tedious. Fitbit this is an ongoing problem, people are still commenting about it on this thread: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/iOS-App/Fitbit-app-food-log-bug/m-p/1296887
which is marked solved, but this issue is not solved. And is very irritating!

This thread is a little misleading, being that where it is posted, it infers that it is a fitbit.com problem through the web, but the poster keeps mentioning the iOS app.

If anything posted will need to mention what platform they are using to add food to their account.

I only make entries into my 'Calories Eaten' log, by using my iPhone. So I don't know about any other platforms. I've been using the Fifbit App on my iPhone for over a year. This glitch in food appearing in the log, then immediately disappearing, close app, then open app & it may then appear. Or you have to do the whole entry again, has been an issue since around the beginning of April 2016. I have never encountered the problem before. So in my opinion there seems to be a problem within the Fitbit App on iPhones. I don't know how to resolve this. If you have a suggestion of who else to raise this issue with, apart from this forum, please let me know. Thank you.

@Cozza

I'm going to move this thread over to the iOS App help forum, where all the iOS App experts hang out. You should get better help there, since this area is for the Fitbit.com Dashboard.

Hope this helps!

Thank you so much. As you can see I'd obviously posted it on the wrong place. But, 1. Didnt realise 2. Didn't know where else to put it!
So thanks for your help.
