Distance of a walk changes after finishing

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi, I've been using the iOS app with my Charge 3 to log walks over the past couple of weeks. When I finish the walk and click the finish 'flag' icon, it shows what looks like a correct total distance (today, 3.59 miles) and the map that comes up shows the circuit I did. After a few seconds, the distance suddenly reduces (today's now says it was 1.13 miles) but the time stays the same and it arrogantly assumes its GPS tracking is correct so it won't let me edit the information.

Please let me know how I can avoid this in future as it's really annoying, and also, as clearly the app or something is not foolproof by any means, please allow the details to be edited.

Thanks

I’m having the same problem, 3 times now I have gone out for a run and it records how far pretty accurately then and hour or so later my distance has been reduced by over 1 kilometre to 2 kilometres and thus changing my pace, it is very demoralising and I have logged out, deleted the app and still it does it.

I use it with my iOS app and I have a versa.

I was told it was a cause I run another app alongside my Fitbit app, been doing this for years and never had a problem until recently, and was made to feel really stupid on customer support.

It does not allow you to change the distance and I’m having the same problem, it states how many kilometres I’ve done then reduces it later on, ie I do nearly 6 kilometre and it has this then an hour or so later it reduces it by a couple of kilometres but when you look at the pace part it still says you have done nearly 6 kilometres, it has done this to me 3 times
