My ionic stopped syncing. I tried everything and it still wouldn’t work. Now tried forget device on app. When I try to set up a device I get stuck on 4 digit pin and error code 4001. Have tried remove from Bluetooth, Wi-fi off, phone off and on. What else can I do?

Hello @OJD27, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for letting us know you have already tried to troubleshoot this issue on your side. At this moment, if you're still getting an error 400 when trying to set up your Fitbit Ionic, I would like to suggest you to follow these steps in order:

  1. Rebooting your iOS device.
  2. Logging out of the Fitbit App by clicking the account button in the bottom right-hand corner and clicking the "Log Out" button at the bottom of the page.
  3. Make sure that your iOS device is connected to the internet via WiFi or mobile data.
  4. Make sure there are no child blocks or VPN's enabled on your router.
  5. Log back into the Fitbit App
  6. Try to set up your Ionic once again.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and let us know the outcome.

I have the same problem as OJD27, followed what you said. But it did not solve the problem.

I appreciate you have joined the conversation and let us know you've already tried the troubleshooting steps listed above. At this moment, as these steps didn't work for you, I would like to suggest you to uninstall the Fitbit app, restart your phone and install the app back. After that, try to set up your device again and if you're getting the same error, please let us know.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and let us know the outcome.
