The new app is disappointing, less user friendly than the previous version.
I miss the ability to be able to “categorise exercise” after Fitbit has automatically recorded the exercise. For example, I used to be able to change “outdoor bike” to the correct category “mowing lawns” but am not longer able to do this.
I very much hope this feature is reinstated.

Hello there @lisachooky, welcome to the Fitbit Community.
Thanks for sharing your comments with us about the Fitbit app and the exercise tile.
I'd like to mention that we have already escalated this issue with our specialist team and they are aware of it. I hope you can understand that we cannot offer an immediate solution, but we are working very hard to get this resolved.

I also hope this will be brought back. Without being able to categorize an exercise it renders the entire app useless.

It’s a feature that’s very utilized within the FitBit Community a lot. I used that feature everyday. I hope this issue is fixed soon.

I just discovered this. There now seems to be no way to change the category automatically assigned to exercise on either the web dashboard or the iOS app. I hope this gets resolved soon.
