I was so excited to use my new Fitbit Blaze to see how many calories I would burn for my first workout. I decided to just do a mile on the treadmill. The time, and calories burned seemed to work just fine, but when I finished my Fitbit said I only ran 0.19 miles. With warm up and cool down it was almost 1.5 miles. I am confused and very frustrated with this. I know I had my gps on, and it was linked to my phone. I'm wondering if I should've logged it under "run" instead of treadmill on my Fitbit, and curious if I even have an accrate calories burned reading. Can Anyone help me ?!

Hello @Cbowman2010, thanks for joining us, it's great to have you on board!
When you're exercising, do you set the Exercise mode on your Blaze on Treadmill? Also, do you hold any handle when you're on the treadmill? It might be possible that the distance is off because the tracker uses your esimated stride length to record your total distance, instead, the treadmill is estimating distance based on how many revolutions the belt makes.
I would suggest to restart your Blaze by press and holding the Back and Select buttons (left and bottom right) until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. Then, scroll between the options on your Blaze > Select Exercise > Select Treadmill. As you're stationary, turn the GPS off and try not to hold the handles while on the treadmill. After finishing your exercise, sync your tracker and check if it's more accurate.
I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted!

I actually have been using the "run" mode. I didn't think to put it on treadmill just because that option doesn't use GPS. I thought it would be better to do it under run since it has to sync to your phones gps. And I do not hold onto the bar, just run as if I'm outside. Would these things make a difference?

Hello @Cbowman2010, I hope you're having a great day!
About your question, it will make a difference changing from Run to Treadmill. the Run activity was designed to be used outdoors, where a GPS signal cannot be obstructed and because you're moving from one place to another, which gets reflected in your app as a map. Treadmill does not use GPS because you're performing an exercise in a stationary place.
I hope this resolves your inquiry, please set up your Blaze for Treadmill under the exercise menu and perform an activity, and let me know the outcome!
