Failed to log in the Fitbit app

My app via IOS is saying email or password in wrong but I can log in with same details on-line

Same issue.  New iPhone SE with data copied from old iPhone 5S.

No login on either phone (old one still works on wifi).  Fresh app install after old phone IOS update, and first login attempt on new phone with fresh app install.  Desktop (PC with Chrome) login works.

Support chat wanted me to remove/reboot/reinstall but couldn't answer question of whether remove/reinstall would lose data or if it would be restored after a good connect with FitBit servers.

And then chat disconnected.  Convenient.  Grrrrrr.

Ideas?

I contacted Fitbit customer support and my account has been hacked. The email linked to my account has changed. I’m waiting for the fraud department to reinstate my email to the account
