I personally do not like the new app that Fitbit has. It is not user friendly and i had issues with it not syncing to my iconic device. I had to delete the app and restart the whole process as using a new device. Now I find it to not have the features readily that was available on the previous app.
it is always interesting to me that companies choose to ‘upgrade’ seemingly without input from their users. I do not like the new app.
