Why isn't the fitbit app talking to the built in health thing in my phone OS?

 

Does fitbit see Apple as their competitor?

 

This is a great way of losing market, all it takes is for Apple/Google to make a fitness wearable and fitbit will go bottom up?

 

Hell even my Garmin watch shares info with Apple health.

 

Will not be buying anymore fitbit products.

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts about the integration with Apple Health, I'll help you with your concern. Our team constantly evaluates new partners to integrate their API so the information syncing in the Fitbit app can be available in their apps too. While there aren't plans to sync the Fitbit app with Apple Health, I'd encourage you to make your suggestion to Apple so they can integrate to our open API and SDK to make this integration. You can also show your support to this suggestion by adding your vote. Please read the FAQ for more details about how the Feature Suggestions board works.

Thanks for your copy pasta reply.

 

The only product I use from you now is my digital fitbit weight, hopefully I will be able to replace it soon 🙂

I'm sorry that the integration with Apple Health isn't available, and thanks for your feedback. I see where are you coming from and I also understand how helpful it'd be for you to get your Fitbit data visible in this app. Currently I don't have more details about this integration and this is why I shared this idea which was posted by another user. I apologize for my last reply and how it was perceive, and Fitbit will keep working to partnership with other apps based on every comment posted in the Community.
