FitBit Charge HR Won't Update

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi! My FitBit Charge HR will not update. I have an iPhone with the FitBit app and I tried problem shotting in the FitBit Community and I could not find an option that works. My FitBit seems to be syncing properly, but after a period of time my FitBit will have an incorrect time, so I need to sync it again to make the time accurate. When I got the Charge HR page on the FitBit app to update my tracker, when I hit update tracker it does not update the tracker. I've been dealing with this for three days. Sometimes when I'm trying to update it, my FitBit will blink and show a symbol acting like it's working, but then it won't update. Please help!

Hi @gill_lindstrom and welcome to the Community! The following steps should get you back on track:

1. Restart your Charge HR.

2. Reboot your iOS device.

3. Open your iOS settings > turn off Bluetooth for 10 seconds > and then turn Bluetooth back on.

4. Try to firmware update again.

If for some reason the steps above don't get you updated, you can also try firmware updating using a computer or a different mobile device. Instructions are hyperlinked in point four.

Hope this helps!
