FitBit syncing my steps at zero

Every since I have done the latest update on my iPhone my Fitbit has been playing up. It syncs my steps as zero (when I've been wearing it all day) . It doesn't not let me access any of the challenges I'm in it comes up unexpected error.
I have tried resetting my flex 3-4 times is there any other trick that you reckon I can try?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Calamjess. It's great to have you here. I would recommend setting up your Flex as a replacement device. You can also uninstall and reinstall the app. This should settle everything up. If this doesn't help, please provide me with a screen shot of the unexpected error you are receiving when trying to access your challenges.
