This morning, I could logon to the app with Google. This afternoon, I was having problems with the sync and went through the “normal” debugging steps. I logged off the app, force quit the app, turned off Bluetooth, deleted the App, and restarted my phone. I reinstalled the app and enabled Bluetooth. Now when I try to login with Google, the app spins for a bit then I get a message “Something went wrong, please try again”.
I can logon to the website but don’t see how to sync from the website. And I can’t logon to the app.
Help!?

Hi everyone, and welcome to our new members.
Thanks for taking the time to report the log in issues experienced with the Fitbit app. Let me share that this situation was already resolved by our team and you should be able to log in, as well as sync your Fitbit devices. If you're having difficulties to sync, let me recommend the troubleshooting described here.
I'm sorry for any inconveniences this caused and I truly appreciate your feedback as it'll help us to improve our products and services.
Best AnswerSame here. Just added my new Versa 4 this morning and now nothing….can’t get in through Google sign in and because I had already moved my sign in from Fitbit to Google, I can’t sign in through my Fitbit password either. Google certainly hasn’t made Fitbit any better.
Same thing here! I was trying to log my food but all I got was "Create banana", no banana products were "found" by the Fitbit food logging step. So I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and now I can't get in.
Best AnswerI assume this is the same issue I am seeing with my wife's Fitbit, it hasn't been able to sync for the past 3 hours.
I tried restarting the watch, rebooting the phone, etc and nothing helps make it sync.
Not too surprising after their horrid 4.00 app release though.

My iOS Fitbit app was not syncing with my Sense. I logged out, then got server errors when trying to log back in. I was finally able to login but it brought up Fitbit’s website, not the app version. Is anyone else having issues?
Just upgraded phones and immediately had problems logging into fitbit app. Updated app. Was then forced to change to google ID. But still can't login to app. Trying to login to app with google account just spins for a minute then goes to "Oops. Something went wrong" error.
Best AnswerSame thing. Tried to login food. Unable to do it. So i logged out of the app and uninstalled the app. Installed a=it again. And now cant login. It says some thing is wrong, please try again since 3 hours.
Best AnswerYeah, I think sync specifically is down in the app. Odd as its still tracking steps via the app, but sleep is not syncing. I’m sure there is other data that isn’t syncing, but sleep was the one that I first noticed.
Best AnswerThe new UI was the first sign of things to come. Absolutely terrible layout and design. Thanks for the link.
I'm getting the same "something went wrong" it was not connecting so I rebooted the phone.. then I thought with all the updates to the app I might need to reinstall it so I did and all I get is the "something went wrong" error. Have tested my tablet too with the same error. It worked for 6 years without an issue now it's dead less than a month after this ugly redesign.
Best AnswerWhat in heavens is Google doing. Google is taking over Fitbit, they said, it will be great, they said, everything will be much easier, they said. I made the switch a few weeks ago. It won't sync properly, randomly moves things. Does not include the 'Readiness' or 'sleep'. Log out then log back in they said... No, doesn't work; so force quit, shut down your phone and switch it back on, re-install the app... done all of those things and then some! I can log in on my Mac but that's not helpful. I can hardly lug my huge Mac with me everywhere!! and I don't how how to sync onto the website. Google get your act together please. I pay a premium fee; not to mention I am STILL waiting for closed captions; what happened to googles reputation for accessibility. I thought it would be one of the first things you'd fix!
Was on Chat with Fitbit support. After running me through a few troubleshooting steps they let me know that they are undergoing a large backend upgrade today and that is probably interfering with login attempts. Said to try again lter.
