I just charged up and started using my Fitbit One again after several years of not using it. It still works great (bought it in 2016), and I've always loved it because it tracks steps as well as flights of stairs you climb (because I go up a flight of stairs multiple times each day), and it will display miles walked and supposed calories burned. (the new Fitbits don't do stairs, apparently). I updated my Fitbit App because the older one still on my phone seemed to need updating, but the App won't sync and import the data from the One. I understand even in 2018 and 2019 people were having trouble with the One syncing properly to the App, and it appears that never got resolved due to the One being discontinued and the One forums are locked. I don't understand why it was discontinued, I loved the One as did so many others. It clipped easily onto your bra (or could clip on elsewhere) and it was so tiny you didn't see or notice it. It was probably easy to lose, due to how small it is. In any case, I don't know how many other Ones are out there still being used, but apparently it has been eliminated from the App and they don't support it. Disappointing for sure, but I'll keep using the One because I absolutely do not want a device that is worn like a watch and I'm not going to buy one. Meanwhile, I can get my data from the One itself and write it down and must forget about the app. I've done all the restarts etc., and the App actually shows all the fields including stairs, but doesn't import data. A couple of times it imported steps, but not reliably. I sure wish Fitbit would make the One again, and I wish Fitbit's app would include legacy devices that people bought and loved.
