My iPhone app is up to date - but about a week ago stopped showing all the tracked elements on the dashboard (for example steps and heart rate) in addition it is not syncing.
Have downloaded latest version and reset my Charge HR.
Nothing has changed.
Should I uninstall from the iPhone6 and reinstall? I don't want to lose 1 year of data however. Can I export the data first and then pull it back in?
In addition I have relatively recently updated and ported to an iPhone 6S

You won't loose any data as this is stored safely on your Fitbit Account on the Fitbit servers. When login to the app (phone), the app gets the latest information back from the account so both stay in sync.
If logging foods on the computer (fitbit.com) for example, it will be reflected in the Fitbit App and if logging foods.. in the app.. it will be updated on your account..
It's safe to uninstall the app, as it won't remove any data from your fitbit account.
