Having the strangest problem with my Charge 5 and syncing. Hoping it isn't fried, hasn't even been a year.
Last synced yesterday morning. After it synced I put it on the charger. First odd thing - it wouldn't connect with charger. I unplugged the charging cable and plugged it into a different charger and it then started to charge.
Tried to sync this morning. Nada. Been trying for 4 hours now and came here thinking maybe server was down. No one else reporting issues.
So I did all the steps. Restart device. Turn Bluetooth off/on. Power phone off and back on. Uninstalled app and reinstalled. Tried app on different phone. Did FORGET DEVICE in Bluetooth.
What is now strange is when I go into Bluetooth, my Charge 5 shows up as connected but the little "i" symbol in the circle next to it is gone. I can't even press that and try forget device again.
Support any other recommendations. Bought it about 9 months ago. Been using fitbit since 2015 and all of my other devices have lasted 2+ years.
Best AnswerI spent 30 minutes on hold waiting for support and another 20 minutes going thru the troubleshooting. My Bluetooth is toast. Luckily it is still under warranty. Hopefully it is a speedy process, the daily stats are like crack and I need my fix,
