Dear Fitbit,
Just bought Fitbit Charge 3 and was very happy until I tried to get app to setup the device.
Unfortunately there is no Fitbit app available.
What do you recommend to solve the issue?

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. Please note that there are several factors that influence the availability of the Fitbit app in certain countries, like Russia. However, many of our members have been able to download the Fitbit app for iOS by creating an Apple ID associated with a country where the Fitbit app is available. For instructions, check Apple's site about how to create a new Apple ID. Please keep in mind that if you don't have an eligible phone number, Apple will you'll ask you to verify your Apple ID by email.
Give these steps a try and let us know the outcome!

Please don't take me wrong, with all respect to you and to your company, but I have no idea what do you mean by "countries like Russia".
Please describe the reasons that do not let you publish the app into the Appstore, "several factors" that you mentioned. Are you planning to get app published somewhere in the future?
I managed to download the app once by creating fake apple id and loosing part of my personal data on the iphone. I suppose that I will have to face such experience every time when I want to update your app.

I appreciate you have come back with some questions about this situation and I sincerely apologize for the miscommunication, it was not my intention to imply a disdain with the work "like", I was just trying to exemplify.
At this moment we do not have a hold of the exact reasons the Fitbit app is not available in certain countries and I do not want to speculate and provide you reasons that might be incorrect. I understand having to create a new Apple ID is not ideal for you, but please be sure that once you have the Fitbit app installed in your phone, the app will still update without you having to switch between accounts in your phone.
Our team is always looking to improve the Fitbit experience and I would like to encourage you to submit your request as a suggested idea, where members of the Community can comment and vote for it so it can be implemented in the future.
Feel free to share your suggestion with your friends and family to add more votes and comments, this is the best way to make your voice heard and get the attention from our development team.

Please submit this idea and have it implemented not in the future, but now.
Your products are very good and helpful and its really bad that you loose trust because of silly issues.
I did not reply you quite a long time. But today new update for Charge 3 arrived in the app. You know what? It's impossible to update the device unfortunately. It hangs for one hour and then just stops...
What would you recommend in such case?

Dear Ivan, I have the same experience, but with Android! It is already two-year-problem. Since 2014 I have bouight at least 7 device + Fitbit aria 2, I am so disappointed with this terrible support now. It looks like Russia is not interesting market for Fitbit anymore. Dear Support, why could not you still solve this problem? What is the reason? We all are loyal customers and this issue ruins everything what was already built. Why?
