Fitbit Surge not updating tracked exercise.

Just done a 50 minute walk recorded on my Fitbit Surge but this has not updated to my iPhone nor to my Fitbit dashboard.
It was working fine on Saturday recording a bike ride.
I have today updated to iOS 11.0.1 and the Fitbit app updated this morning.Fitbit

Hello @mikewoodhead, I hope you're doing fine, it's nice to see you around. Smiley Happy

Did you manually record the activity or did the tracker automatically recognized it? Have you experienced the same exact situation after updating your OS and the Fitbit app? If so, my best recommendation would be restarting your Surge by pressing and holding the Home and Select buttons (left and bottom right) on your Fitbit Surge for 10 to 15 seconds, until you see the screen flash or start to dim. Then let go of the button and after the screen turns off, wait 10 seconds and press the Home button.

Then, record your activities as you normally do and sync your tracker. Please note that it might take from 10 to 15 minutes for the activities to show up in the app Dashboard or your online Dashboard.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.

Hi Marco

I recorded the activity manually after updating my OS and the Fitbit app. I did find after that, my Surge failed to update to my Fitbit app but later yesterday evening everything updated and I was able to see my afternoon exercise on both my app and on my iMac.

No need to restart the Surge but I will hopefully remember your advice if I have further problems.
