Hello and welcome to the Fitbit Community @brookekjordan
I did a bit of digging around and found this: https://venturebeat.com/2019/11/13/fitbit-os-4-1-arrives-in-december-and-it-might-be-the-last/ According to this article it claims it will occur in the first week of December for Fitbit Smartwatch users. So apparently soon. This article claims it is rolling out today:https://www.androidcentral.com/new-fitbit-os-update-finally-lets-you-change-your-watch-face-device
I don’t have any further information.

There exists multiple articles stating the same thing. No doubt one of which OP read. Hopefully we will see a Fitbit employee post an official release soon. For now here is a press release on the new features to come (https://investor.fitbit.com/press/press-releases/press-release-details/2019/Fitbit-Enhances-Smartwat...).
Like all new updates Fitbit is rolling it out step by step for every user . If they do it immediately for everyone they would get problems with their server It can last up to 3-4 weeks till everybody gets it. And another reason is, if there are problems with the new version they can stop it and fix it.
I still don't see where I can customize it.
Best AnswerI'm late in this feed, but I just got a Versa for Christmas. I can't get text notifications from my iPhone. I did just do an iPhone update, so I went online to troubleshoot. I've done everything I found I could do, but can't find the newest update. My app doesn't show an update is needed, but it's a 3.12.1. I see there is a 4.1 out there through my searching. How do I get the update on the app or the device? I assume only through the app. It seems this update isn't put out all at once, is it possible it still hasn't reached my area? I'm in San Diego. Help!
