Fitbit Versa not found

Hey all. Seriously disappointed and may abandon the Fitbit ship. My Fitbit first started out by not syncing to my iPhone 11 Pro. Not sure why. I always keep it up to date. So I rebooted the Fitbit, my phone, logged out, logged back in, and finally tried syncing it to another device as recommended. Still doesn’t work after a factory reset. It turns on, but when I go thru the set up on the app, it won’t sync or discover the watch. I tried this on both my phone and my husbands. On my husbands it found the device and I got as far as enter the 4 digit code but then it got hung up and wouldn’t sync.

I’ve only had this thing for a year and a half. Is that the life span? Should I just buy an Apple Watch or will one of you save me the expense and tell me a work around I haven’t tried....?

fit bit or quit?

Have you removed the Versa from your phones Bluetooth. Actually this should have been one of the first things tried.

I would also delete the Fitbit app, restart phone, and install a fresh copy of the Fitbit app.

As for doing a factory reset, that should be the last of about 8 other things to try after removing from the Fitbit account, since doing either of the last two usually will only add problem's.

Tried this and got as far as connecting then it got hung up during the syncing process. In fact, while holding both the Fitbit in my hand (fully charged) and the iPhone 11 Pro in the other hand it said it lost its connection.

Now I’m back to square 1. It cannot find it when trying to set up.

So disappointed.

Thanks for the help though.
