My watch is not buzzing when I get notifications and I’ve checked that I’m not on do not disturb and sleep mode and I’ve been trying to fix this on my iPhone for 9 months now and I would like a solution

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Noah_Brumbaugh. I am sorry for the delayed response.

I am sorry to hear your Fitbit Versa is not buzzing when you get notifications. I appreciate your troubleshooting efforts, I understand how you are feeling and I am here to help. I recommend confirming the following:

  1. Press and hold the left button for 2 seconds to quickly access notifications and other options. Make sure Notifications are turned on.
  2. Restart your watch: How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  3. Please check this help article with useful information: Why didn't my Fitbit device alert me?

You can confirm your notifications settings on your iPhone at How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device?

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Did you ever get your left button to work? After Versa update my left button doesn’t show notifications on/off like it used to. In the setting on Fitbit you can choose what you want it to be now. I changed it to notifications, but if I press it it just shows notifications like if you swipe down. Vibration is set to strong in my settings.  I’ve uninstalled, reinstalled, reStarted my phone and got it several times. It still doesn’t vibrate for notifications and I’ve made sure everything is enabled.

I am aware of all of those things. None of that addresses the change with the left button and notifications being on/off anymore. Notifications do not vibrate. I am unaware of when my phone rings, I get a text, and I’ve missed out on getting the correct amount of steps per hour because I am busy and do notice when there is only 10 minutes left in the hour.
