Hi,
I’ve been using a Fitbit Charge 4 for the past 3 months and quite happy with it. I’m ~9kg down (20lbs).
However, recently the iOS mobile app started acting funny. For example, the background image - which used to be white - turned into this overly colourful one:
I find it a bit noisy and prefer the blank background. It was easier to read. Is there a way to bring back the old one please?
Things I already ruled out:
1. Uninstalled and reinstalled the mobile app.
2. Rebooted the watch while connected to the charger with an 8 sec press.
3. I thought the dark blue background was due to dnd mode, but my Fitbit’s dnd is currently “off”.
Thanks.

Recently, my Fitbit app's main screen changed from a light color with easy to read teal colored fonts and numbers to a purple screen with graphics and white font. For me, this was a change for the worse as the old screen was easier to read and to discern the numbers on as some of the graphics are interfering with them now.
Fitbit should allow users to decide which color screen and fonts they prefer because, for some of us, the new colors/graphics make reading the screen harder and less enjoyable.
Not everyone enjoys the same thing Fitbit programmers enjoy and force upon us. I am very disappointed...

I must say mine has changed colors as well. But, I will admit that since I have vision problems (double vision corrected with ground in prisms in my glasses) I LOVE the new change and feel it is easier on my eyes and much more appealing! I’m excited about it and hope it becomes permanent. I do agree though that the user should be able to choose what works best for them but I think this change will be great for people who suffer vision issues.
Heres what I see:

Yep. Mine changed to that dark purple on the main screen, too. I do NOT like it at all. AND oddly I actually had a few hours yesterday where it magically turned back to the green & white. Alas it turned back to the dark purple again. It *seems* like it must be a programming issue...please fix it. Thank you

I agree with Hannah, I hate the purple and the stars can we just get it back to being simple?

I SO agree. I totally looked at it as an error that would get fixed. Alas ...it was apparently just an unannounced change.
Would be awesome if we were able to choose between the original green and the new dark blue background with a cityscape.

Is this only rolled out to some? The background changes on my husband’s account/device but not mine, and I’m jealous 😂
