Fitbit app crashing after 2.19 update

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

After IOS updated my app to v. 2.19, I am unable to use it.

When I start the app, it shows black screen with Apple logo (like when you reboot), and then it takes me back to IOS login screen.

I have tried rebooting without any succes.

Using IOS version 8.1.3 on iPhone6

Any ideas?

In case anyone else encounters this problem, reinstalling the app fixed the problem for me!

I'm having the same issue with my charge. I deleted the app and redownloaded it and still having problems. Now the app won't even recognize my charge when trying to set it up again.

@Stuntdk Glad to hear that you are back on track!

@DevilsX @Rbartolet I would recommend the following steps:

1. Restart your tracker.

2. Reboot your iOS device.

3. Open your iOS settings > turn off Bluetooth for 10 seconds > and then turn Bluetooth back on.

4. Use the replacement setup process to pair your tracker to your existing account. Click here for instructions.

This should help you out, but please keep me posted!

I have been having problems with all three of my exercise apps crashing for about 2 months now, including Fitbit, on my iPhone 5.  I have the latest Fitbit version 2.19.  I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, rebooting the tracking device, resetting my iphone (Apple can see the crashes but indicates the phone is working correctly), etc.  Not sure where to go from here.  I am having similar problems with Map My Run and Runkeeper.  I have used all three apps to track my runs/walks for several years without any problems but now all are crashing almost everytime I try to track a run/walk (everynow and then, all three track fine!).  Someone had suggested they might all use a common "framework" but I don't know how it all works.  BTW, it does not crash with navigation apps (WAZE, Google maps, etc.) that use GSP, only the exercise apps.  Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am at my wit's end!!
