Hello again @Wanker89

I’d like you to look at one more setting. Can you look to make sure your “All day Sync” is enabled?
Here’s how:

open Fitbit App

tap your profile picture on upper left of your screen

scroll down an tap the name of your Fitbit Tracker (located just under “My Family”)

now scroll down and find “All Day Sync” and ensure that is enabled.

Hello and welcome to the Fitbit Community @Wanker89

I understand your heart rate is not being displayed on the Fitbit app. Is the heart rate showing on your Fitbit Tracker? I’m wondering if your heart rate tile got disabled somehow.
Let’s check:

open your Fitbit App

tap the word “Discover” on the bottom left corner

now tap Health and Fitness Stats

look for the Heart rate tile and look to see if it has a green check mark on it

if it does not have a green check mark please tap the heart rate tile

now scroll down and tap “add to today”

this will pop you back to the main page of the Fitbit App...... look through your current/completed challenges and you should see your heart rate tile now among the other tiles

😃 Please let me know if this answers your question. Keep me posted

Thanks. Yes my heart rate displays as usual on my tracker. The app shows a resting heart rate but not a current display of my heartrate on the “today” page as it used to. I followed your instructions and yes I have a green check mark on that tile. I have turned my phone off then on. I deleted and reinstalled the app. I followEd instructions on rebooting the tracker. Still no help.

Hello again @Wanker89

This is quite odd since the heart rate tile has a check mark in it under the “Health & Fitness Stats”. This may sound odd but I’d like to try a different route to try and get your heart rate tile back up to the “Today“ page.

Let’s try this:

go back to health and fitness and remove the check mark

now go back to the main page and sync your Fitbit Tracker

log out of the Fitbit App

Force shut the Fitbit App by swiping the app upward

restart your iOS device

log back into the Fitbit App as you normally would with your email address and password

again sync your tracker

Now head back to Heath an Fitness Stats

find the heart rate tile and tap it

scroll down and tap “Add to Today”

😃 Hopefully this will place the heart rate tile back on the “Today” page. Keep me posted

Okay did all you instructed. Still no change. BTW I think we might be talking past each other. I have the heart rate tile that shows the resting heart rate. I used to have the active actual rate that duplicates the tracker device in the same tile. Thanks for all your advice. Hoping that the next IOS update might fix the problem.

Okay I had to set that all day sync. Which required a pairing again. All good now. I attribute that glitch to the latest IOS update. Thanks again for your perseverance and knowledge.

Your so very welcome @Wanker89! I’m happy that enabling “All Day Sync” resolved the issue. Happy Stepping and enjoy your Christmas Holiday! 😃

@Wanker89   @SunsetRunner   Having All Day Sync enabled is not a requirement for live heart rate data.  I do not want other users to think that this is a requirement.

@LZeeW  I understand “All Day Sync” is not a requirement but it does help keep a persistent connection so you can monitor heart rate and other data real-time on the app.

Our team is aware that sometimes live heart rate will not appear on the tile. In this case, I'm happy to hear @SunsetRunner's suggestion to have all-day sync enabled helped resolve the issue.
