This has just happened to me too. Deleted the app to try again and the same- tracks everything but cannot physically click on any of the menu options at all.
Any suggestions?

I’ve tried all of these things and am having the same issue. It happened after I GPS tracked a run and then synched my watch. Forced quit, updated the app, rebooted my phone, still can’t click on anything. Any other suggestions?

Best AnswerI’m a Fitbit newbie and thought it was just me! Thanks for the tip Angie - Logging out and back in work, and my walk has been tracked.
Hope the glitch is soon fixed - I’ve only had the Fitbit 3 days, and this has happened twice.
This keeps happening to me when I am trying to record my activity using the GPS. Very often during an activity the blue line showing GPS on my phone disappears and if I go to the app the exercise I am recording has vanished and all of the tiles are frozen. I have tried all of the steps below and the only thing that actually works for me is to delete and reinstall the app. While this is annoying, it does mean that I have the most up to date version of the app because I have to download again. I have tried to troubleshoot what I am doing when it freezes up but can’t come up with anything obvious. I tried not using my phone for anything else during an activity (which I usually do anyway), but that makes no difference. I have checked to see if maybe the GPS signal was too poor and somehow that caused the app to get stuck. However, I can go to the middle of nowhere for a hike and the app performs as expected, but if I take a walk around town, it gets stuck. I can take the same walk two days in a row and one day it works, the next day I am deleting the app again. This seems to be a bug in the app. I do keep the iOS version on my phone up to date if that helps.
Best AnswerMines just done this tonight for the first time. Did updates a few days ago, manually started a walk activity tonight, went to stop it and it just died on me - couldn’t stop the activity.
Tiles were all frozen even after syncing. Forced the app shut, reopened same. Closed app, turned off phone, turned on again same issue. Checked App Store - updated the app again - still the same 😖😖😖😖

Best AnswerHello everyone. Thank you for your updates in this thread.
Thanks to all for the efforts to resolve the issue, sharing the solutions and steps you've tried. I apologize to anyone who has been affected by this issue, I understand that this can be very frustrating. For us to investigate this issue, could you please confirm if the issue happens only after tracking the activity using the GPS? What type of exercise were you doing? Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the app? Could you confirm your iOS versions?
@pcpix thank you for providing the additional details and sharing a workaround by uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
Looking forward to your responses.

Best AnswerI’ve uninstalled and reinstalled, restarted phone, hard closed, rebooted etc.
I manually started a GPS, ie I clicked the + and selected to do a walk as exercise Set it off, locked my phone and put into pocket and it set off tracking as normal then when I went to stop it it was totally frozen and couldn’t pause or finish the activity.
I hard closed it from there (swipe up to shut app) and reopened and couldn’t click tiles.
my iOS is 13.4.1 just downloading 13.5.1 now
Overnight it’s corrected itself, tiles are clickable etc. It must be some like of bug related to the GPS.
hope this helps
