Fitbit app freezing after latest update

Is anyone else finding that the latest update to the app (addition of the 'maintaining fitness' metric) is causing the app to freeze constantly?  I have to close the app nearly every time I go into it to check the metrics I actually want ....

I should have added that this relates to the Versa 4: this post was moved from that Category ....

Thanks for sharing these details and the steps that you've tried so far. Because this shouldn't be happening, I'd like to recommend these steps:

  1. Log out from the Fitbit app.
  2. Check if the Fitbit app is updated to the latest version 4.35.
  3. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  4. Open the Fitbit app and log back into your account.


Regarding your other question, even though you have a Versa 4, your post is on the right board as the issue is related to the Fitbit app.

Hi!

I've just updated it to version 4.35, so will see if that fixes it - thanks.

If I need to go to step 3:

  • how do I force quit the app?
  • what do you mean by 'reboot my phone'?
  • Do either of these steps cause any loss of data/settings on this or any other app?
