Fitbit app icon on iPhone is showing a “1”

But I can’t seem to find what I need to do. I just replace my old Fitbit with a new one. With most app’s this would tell me I have a message or a required update.

Thanks for the details shared in your post. I understand your concern and if you've already checked your Fitbit messages and notifications, I recommend doing the following:

  1. Log out of the app by tapping your profile picture and then log out. 
  2. Force quit the app.
  3. Restart your phone. 
  4. Log into the Fitbit app and check if the issue persists.
