I have a Flex2 which I've tried setting up the app on three different devices with no luck.
After installing the the desktop app on my MacBook and run through the initial setup, when setting up new device the process stops saying I need to turn Bluetooth on. It's always been on and I have restarted the computer only for the same message to appear. Ideas?

Hello @Dani33, thanks for joining us, it's great to see new faces around.
Would it be possible for you to let me know which model is your Macbook Pro? Which other devices have you tried to use to set up your tracker? In order for a Fitbit tracker to pair or sync with a computer it needs a USB dongle that is currently not included on the Flex 2 (or Charge 2) package. The trackers use Bluetooth 4.0 to sync which older models of Macbook do not support.
If you have tried with a mobile device, I would like to suggest restarting your tracker and your mobile device and then try to set it up again.
I hope this can be helpful, I'll be waiting for your reply.

Hi Marco
It's a Macbook Pro (2011) with OS X EL Capitan version 10.11.6.
I have also tried the app on my iPad which the app says I do not have a WiFi connection - when I do.
I now know from reading other threads that the fitbit does not work with the iPhone 4s. I have since been using it on a Samsung S5, which worked well for a couple of days, however now will not sync or showup as a bluetooth device.
I have restarted and uninstalled multiple times, with no success.
Any tips would be appreciated 🙂

Hello @Dani33, I hope you're having a great day, thanks for taking the time to reply.
After checking our list of compatible devices, I can say that the Fitbit app is compatible with the iPhone 4S. As for your computer, you will need a USB dongle that, as mentioned before, it's not included on the Flex 2 (or Charge 2) package.
Fitbit trackers usually don't appear in the Bluetooth settings of your phone unless you've set up Notifications, however If your tracker is not syncing correctly I would like to suggest following @HelenaFitbit's excellent tips and recommendations in how to resolve syncing issues. In case that doesn't do the trick, please try to set up your tracker using your iPhone 4S.
To set up your tracker:
Additionally, please make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices around and that your tracker is plugged in and charging.
Give it a try and let me know the outcome!
