Fitbit app shows incorrect data after restoring iPhone

My phone was really acting up lately so a few days ago (Friday) I reset all the settings. I make regular backups of my stuff. It didn't help much so I did a factory reset today. Everything is working fine after restoring from my backup except Fitbit. I had around 4,000 steps at the time of the restore, and they went down to 1,700 and wouldn't update. I entered in my information manually because I was walking for 30 minutes and it was still at 1,700. I also input my daily food intake with a -250 calorie deficit. When I went into my log, instead of being Under Target I was suddenly Over Target since Friday. Turns out it didn't register my burned calories at around 1,900 but at 1,300! However, in the home view, everything seems correct. How do I fix this? I tried reinstalling, logging out etc.

Hi @Aleksoz, welcome on board. It's good that the community is growing!

Thanks for the information provided, as well for the steps that you've tried prior posting. I'm sorry that the Fitbit app is now showing incorrect data. This sounds odd, and let's work on this together. Just to make sure, verify that the Fitbit app is updated to the latest version. If this keeps happening, please attach screenshots of the data displayed in the Fitbit app. Also, please try to log out from the Fitbit app, force quit the Fitbit app, reboot your phone and log back in.

Keep me posted.

Hi there,

Thanks for your response. It's no big deal but I just like when things are organized and my stats are right :). It seems that the only days that were messed up were between Friday and yesterday, ie the days between the settings reset and the factory restore. Weird, I know. I just came on here thinking maybe someone else had this problem. Thanks for your help. I tried to attach screens but they wouldn't load for some reason.

As you can see, these are my under target ranges but they're noted as over target because it didn't save my burned calories for each day.

Hi @Aleksoz, welcome back to the Community. I'm sorry for my delayed response.

Thanks for sharing more details about this situation, as well for the screenshot provided. You're right about how the information is displayed in the Fitbit app. Just to confirm, were you able to try the steps from my previous post? If you've tried that and the issue persists, please provide me with your phone's model.

Keep me posted! Woman Happy
