My Fitbit app icon on my iPhone shows that I have 1 notification but when I check I don’t have any notifications. I uninstall and reinstall the app and the number 1 is gone but then it reappears again in a day or two. Wash rinse repeat. This has been going on now for a couple of weeks. What can I do to get this to go away once and for all?

Thanks for sharing these details, as well as your efforts while working on this matter. I understand you've tried removing and reinstalling the Fitbit app, but could you check if the latest version is installed? I'm asking this as our team recently released the 3.89 version which may help to get the notifications icon working correctly. Additionally, try to force quitting the Fitbit app and rebooting your phone to see if that helps.
