Fitbit app won’t store data

Since the last app update, my charge 3 will sync, but it doesn’t store the data. As soon as I exit the app, the data is gone. My Charge 3 is giving me accurate notifications for steps per hour, # steps, etc, but this is not reflected on my account. It shows 0 steps for every day since the update.

I restarted both my Fitbit and phone, but no luck. Please help! It’s hard to reach a goal when you can’t see progress.

Hi there @marie5963, it's nice to see you around here! Thanks for already troubleshooting this inconvenience with your Fitbit app. Nice way to go!

While reading your post my first thought is that your Charge 3 might be no longer paired to your Fitbit account and that's why your app is not storing your data.

So we can make sure about this, please go to your Fitbit app, go to the account section and see if your Charge 3 appears connected. If it's not, please do the following:

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon.
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

Then, sync your tracker once again and see if your app stores your data. Also, I've moved your post to the iOS App as your topic is more related to here.
