Just got my first Fitbit and whilst it syncs fine with the Fitbit app on the iPad it doesn’t want to sync with the same app on my iPhone 7. I’ve tried turning Bluetooth on and off, logging out and back in, uninstalling app and installing again, switch iPhone off and on again etc but it just keeps looking for Fitbit.
Any help?

Try to forget your device on your iPad and then try to connect to your phone.

Thanks ACG. This seems to have happened accidentally. Presumably it can’t be synced to 2 devices at the same time?
Thanks for your help.

I just leave it sync'd to my iPhone and once it syncs to it, I can see the results on my iPad as it transferred the info over the Internet to my iPad.
I can't get it to sync to my iPad when it is hooked up to my iphone.
