Option to get Third Party Notifications For IOS! (Charge 2)

I just got my fitbit charge 2 and I'm really liking it so far. But one feature that irritates me is the lack of notifications for IOS. One of my friends has a Garmin Vivosmart and he showed me how he gets notifications from when someone sends him a Snapchat, when someone likes his post on Instagram, and when someone messages him on facebook, etc. I dont understand why the fitbit charge 2 cant have these third party notifications when Garmin can for the same price! I really hope someone that works at fitbit sees this and decides to integrate notifications!

Hello @kobonobo, thanks for joining us, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

I really appreciate your input and feedback regarding third party notifications on the Charge 2. Our team is always looking to improve the Fitbit experience and I think having more notifications will be very useful for many members in the Community, which is why I went ahead and found a suggested idea by @jcat30 to implement this in the future. Feel free to add your vote and comment to this idea, this is truly the best way to make your voice heard.

Once again, I would like to thank you for your insight. If there's anything else I can do for you, please keep me posted! Smiley Wink

At this moment it's not possible for a Charge 2 to receive Whatsapp notifications from an iOS phone. I understand your concern about this feature and I would like to suggest you to vote for @Hithere1's suggested idea to implement this in a future update.

Thanks for taking the time to share your inquiry, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.
